How can StylistMatch.com
help me find a great stylist?
We made it our business to put the searching power in your hands. We provide the tools to help you select a stylist based on criteria such as expertise, certifications, showcase pictures, specialties, techniques, and several other methods of making sure you find the stylist that's right for you.
Your website says, "It's
more then finding a stylist...it's never losing them". What
does that mean?
It means exactly that. If your stylist is part of our network and moves to another salon, you can go to the front page of StylistMatch.com and enter your stylist's first name and the name of the salon you last saw at. Within seconds, you will know where they are working now.
This is great! Now how
do I search for a stylist in my area?
We gave you three options to search for a stylist.
1. On the homepage of StylistMatch.com under the title "Find a Stylist", select the state you live in and enter the zip code. Once you click the search button, our database will pull a list of all the stylists in your area.
2. If you want to see all the stylists in the state where you live or are traveling to, simply select the State from the menu on the right of the homepage. The states are listed under "Stylists By State".
3. If you already have a preferred stylist and need want to locate them, go the "Find a Stylist" section on the homepage, and enter their first name and the salon you last saw them at. If your stylist is part of our network, you will be able to view their profile and new contact information.
I was able to pull a
list of stylists in area, but I cannot view any of their contact
information? Why?
You do not have to become a member to view our website and find stylists in your area. However, due to the sensitive nature over online privacy and concerns over Internet spam, we do not publish contact information in public areas of our website. If you would like to view the contact information of a particular stylist, review their biography, have the ability to communicate with the stylist through email, and participate in the message board, then you will need to sign up as a member. This protects the privacy of our stylists who are part of our network as well as discourages unwanted emails and spam on the message boards. We have made the process very easy. You only have to enter your name, email address, and the state you live in.
Is the service free,
or will I be asked to pay a fee to become a member?
There is a one time annual payment of $19.95 for Hair Stylists and $29.95
for Beauty Salons. This is a small fee since you will get unlimited
leads provided by us to your front door of your Hair Salon.
I signed up as a member,
but never got my confirmation email. Can I still login to the site
with my email address and the password I selected during the registration
process?
We do not require you to activate your account. Therefore, this
is only a confirmation email and includes your previously selected
username and password. With the personal spam filters and ISP filters
(i.e. Yahoo, Hotmail), our confirmation emails sometimes get automatically
placed into a junk or spam folder on your computer. If you have
any trouble logging in, send an email to info at stylistmatch.com,
we will resend your username and password.
How can I change my account
information including username and password?
Once you log into your account, click on the edit my account link. You can change your contact and password here.
I love your service,
but there are no stylists listed in my area. What should I do?
New stylists are joining our network every day, and it is only a matter of time before we will be serving your home town. If you just can't wait, send an email with the city and state you live in. We have a recruiting staff that will start working in your area and let those stylists know that folks are asking about them!
I live outside the US.
Do you have a service I can use?
We will be expanding to countries outside the US. If you would like to be contacted when we launch in your country, send an email to info at stylistmatch.com
I chose a stylist from
your network and they did a bad job. Is your company held accountable?
Good question, but no. We hold no responsibility if you are not happy with the service you receive from the stylist. We do not pre-screen our stylists as we are putting the choice in your hands. We allow you to pre-screen the stylist based on their qualifications, certifications, and other criteria. It is entirely up to you whether or not to utilize their service.
What is your privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We will not sell or distribute your personal information to third parties. See our privacy policy.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
